This Sunday is Confirmation Sunday. I am extremely pumped about it. We are confirming 28 youth and baptizing 4. I am so proud of each and every one of them. I was given total control over the service. I must say, WOW that is a lot of work. I picked the music and the beat that I wanted it, and worked on how to create the most heart and soul emotions. I am excited. I created videos for the Service, and I worked on when to have lights and when not too, to create an impactful service. I will be giving the message, and I am pumped about it. I am talking about the Journey that we are on. How our journey is just beginning, and relating our journey to forms of adhesive, primarily glues. I am actually excited it. Are you an instant stick or lasting stick form of glue? Instant stick is great right away like Super Glue, but over time it breaks down and falls apart. The everlasting glue like Elmer's, is horrible at first, it smears and barely feels like it will stick, but over time it becomes infused in whatever object it is adheared to and does not chemically break down. That is a little taste of what I will be speaking about.
I am nervous for this week. I want it to be so powerful and heart provoking, and I am trying to micro-manage it. I am not sure where that comes from, but over the last year, I have found myself micro-managing pretty much everything and I am becoming OCD with certain things. It's crazy.
